Julia dons feathered bra for charity moonwalk

Julia walked a half marathon through London in a feathery bra in aid of breast cancer charities on Saturday night.

She was part of team of female MPs, walking a half-marathon through the streets of London for the 11th Annual Playtex Moonwalk.

The group joined around 15,000 participants for the event, which started in Hyde Park on Saturday night. Participants were decked out in all manner of costumes, wigs, boas and bras, with the theme of the walk being 'Bollywood meets Rock 'n Roll'. Julia and her team opted for a purple and green theme, in honour of the suffragettes.

The event's organiser, Walk the Walk, has raised over £40m for breast cancer causes over the last 11 years.

Commenting, Julia said:

"It was great to be part of such a unique event for such a good cause. There was a really fun atmosphere on the night and some amazingly creative outfits on display!

"Walk the Walk has done a brilliant job over the last few years, raising millions of pounds for breast cancer causes through events like these.

"It's not every day you walk through the streets of London in your bra, but it's certainly worth it if it can help people fighting this all-too common disease.
